Commercial refrigeration repair
In the food service business, commercial refrigeration protects your most important assets. Your commercial refrigeration system is vital to maintaining safe and proper food storage.  Your HVAC system is critical to making customers happy, and not leaving for another restaurant.

When your commercial refrigeration system malfunctions, you must quickly repair it to ensure you are compliant with health code regulations.

Before you call Restaurant Refrigeration Repair

If the commercial refrigerator does not seem to be running, check the plug and make sure it is properly in the power outlet.  Check the circuit breaker.  If there is a switch, check to see if it is in the on position.  It might have been accidentally bumped to the off position.

If the commercial refrigerator is on, but not properly maintaining a cool temperature, check the internal temperature with a thermometer. Check for blocked suction or blowing vents.

Is the commercial refrigerator door is closing properly and sealing well?  Does the door have worn gaskets?

Regular Maintenance Plan
A regular maintenance plan for your HVAC system or Commercial Refrigeration System can identify problems before they become major repair issues. We can tell you whether a part should be repaired or replaced, and if there are any warranty options available for your commercial refrigerator.

Compressor
The compressor distributes coolant through the condenser and evaporator coils. It is typically located outside the unit, and for walk in coolers, located outside the facility.  A compressor problem is possible if there is a loud noise coming from the unit.

Condenser coil
The condenser coil is located outside the cool area of the commercial refrigerator.  Verify if the condenser coils are clean.

Evaporator coil
The evaporator coil pulls heat out of the inside of the refrigerator unit. Sometimes the water drain line can clog with ice, and then cause ice buildup on the evaporator. Ice buildup can cause a commercial refrigerator to lose efficiency, and also its ability to control temperature.

Fans
Check the condenser fans or evaporator motor fans to see if they are rotating.
